The revised Privacy Policy will be posted on our website with an updated effective date.  By using our services or visiting our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, consent and agreed to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information we collect

1.1. Information You Provide: We may collect the personal information you provide for us when making reservations, such as your name, contact information, payment details, and travel preferences.

1.2. Usage Information: We collect information related to your use of our website and services, including IP addresses, device information, and browsing activity. This information helps us improve our services and provide better user experience.

1.3. Location Information: We may collect your location information when you use our mobile app or website to request transportation services. This allows us to provide you with accurate pickup and drop-off services.

1.4. Communication: We may collect and store communication with us, including emails, chat messages, or customer support interactions for quality assurance and record-keeping purposes. 

2. Use of Information

2.1. We use the collected information for the following purposes: a. To provide transportation services and fulfill reservations. b. To communicate with you regarding your reservations, updates, and customer support. c. To improve and personalize your experience with our services. d. To maintain the security of our systems and protect against fraud and unauthorized access. e. To comply with legal obligations and respond to legal requests.

3. SMS Communications/ Consent to Electronic Communication

3.1. By submitting an enquiry or a reservation request either over the phone, by text, email or one of our online contact, requests or booking forms, the client hereby gives NexRide Services, Inc., express consent to communicate via email, telephone, and SMS (text message) using the contact information provided. These communications may include response to enquiries, quotes, customer related inquiries, building relationships with potential and existing customers, providing text message support to existing customers, service updates, appointment reminders, important notices, billing information, or urgent messages related to service delivery.

3.2. The client acknowledges that standard messaging and data rates may apply for SMS communications, depending on their mobile carrier plan.
3.3. The client may opt-out of non-essential communications at any time by replying with 'STOP' or by notifying NexRide Services in writing.

However, opting out of essential service-related messages may impact the effectiveness of service delivery.

3.4 Third Parties that Help Provide Messaging Service: We will not share your opt-in to an SMS short code campaign with a third party for purposes unrelated to supporting you in connection with that campaign. We may share your Personal Data with third parties that help us provide the messaging service, including, but not limited to, platform providers, phone companies, and other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

3.5. Additional Disclosures: Affiliates: We may disclose the Personal Data to our affiliates or subsidiaries; however, if we do so, their use and disclosure of your Personal Data will be subject to this Policy. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

4.1. We may share your personal information with a. Drivers: We share your name, contact information, and pick up/drop-off locations with our drivers to provide transportation services. b. Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who assist us with delivery services, such as payment processing or data analysis. c. Legal Compliance: We may disclose information to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or governmental requests. 

5. Data Security

5.1. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

5.2. While we take reasonable precautions, no data transmission or storage system is entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of your information.

 8. Children's Privacy

8.1.  Our services are not intended for children under the age of 15. NexRide Services do not knowingly collect or maintain information from individuals under 15 years of age. While reservations can be submitted through our website without indicating age, we operate in good faith with the assumption that the individual placing the reservation is of legal age to do so.

8.2. If, at the time of pickup, the passenger is determined to be under 15 years of age and is unaccompanied by a parent or legal guardian, NexRide reserves the right to cancel the ride immediately for safety and liability reasons.

8.3. To transport a child under the age of 15 unaccompanied, the following conditions must be met:

• The child's age must be explicitly stated in the reservation notes at the time of booking.

• A signed authorization form must be completed in advance by a parent or legal guardian, or another responsible adult designated with written permission.

8.4. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in denied service. NexRide Services prioritizes the safety of all passengers and adheres to regulations protecting minors.
